May 9, 2005

According to a post on Yngwie J Malmsteen's Guitar Alchemy, a new YNGWIE MALMSTEEN compilation, entitled "20th Century Masters: The Millennium Collection", will be released in the U.S. on May 24 via Universal Music.

The track listing of the set, which is said to be "not that different from the 'Collection' compilation from 1990," is as follows:

01. Black Star
02. Far Beyond The Sun
03. I'll See The Light Tonight
04. Soldier Without Faith
05. You Don't Remember, I'll Never Forget
06. Liar
07. Queen In Love
08. Trilogy Suite Opus 5
09. Hold On
10. Heaven Tonight
11. Deja Vu
12. Making Love - (Extended Guitar Solo)

The associated information for this release states that the material has been re-mastered. Whether this will lead to a series of remasters of the old Polydor releases (now part of the Universal family) remains to be seen.
